21. If you were stuck on a deserted island, what one person would you want to keep you company? Why?

22. Your child was just born into the world, what kind of wisdom do you want to teach him/her?

23. Your house is on fire, everyone has escaped, you have a chance to grab three items, what would they be and why?

24. You have just been transferred by work, to an exotic country you have always wanted to go to. Where is it and why do you like it?

25. You’ve just won first place in any event. Which event is it? How do you feel?

26. A young woman is about to be married. She is asking your advice on how to start her new life. What do you tell her?

27. The sun was setting. The boy was lost in the woods, he was sure of it. He wondered if he should stay where he was, or keep moving. What should he do?

28. You’ve just won a two week trip on a cruise. Write about your adventures.

29. A friend has just been thrown in jail for mistaken identity. You’ve been asked to speak on his behalf. What do you say?

30. The man started the engine. The purr of it eased his tense muscles. It had been a long time since he was in a race car. He wondered if it would come back to him. The man eased the car into gear, and slowly pulled out of the parking lot. Where is he going? What is he doing in a race car?

31. A construction crew is on break. The foreman is watching the crew. Suddenly a fight breaks out. He runs and stops it. He glares at the carpenter and the plumber. Why were they fighting?

32. Peter and Sam have been best friends since they were sixteen. Two months ago they had had a huge fight and hadn’t talked since. What happened, and why haven’t they made up?

33. A famous singer is in town and you’ve won two concert tickets. While at the concert, the bouncer gives you VIP passes. After the show you can go backstage to meet the singer. Write about your experience.

34. You’re just met the love of your life, but he/she is marrying someone else. You’ve got two days to plead your case before he/she is married. What would you say, and how would you say it?

35. You’ve just been made a politician. Your first lobbyist comes to meet you on an issue that you feel strongly about. You have a chance to make a difference, a chance to change the world. What would you change and how?

36. A young woman sits crying on the bench. A man approaches, and almost decides to walk away. He doesn’t. He hands the woman a tissue and asks her why she’s crying. What does she tell him?

37. A father suspects his son is doing drugs. He decides to follow him around for a few days. The son is sixteen and knows his father is following him, he decides to take him on a wild goose chase. Where does he take his father for the next two days?

38. A woman inherits $400,000 from a relative she didn’t even know. The woman has just fallen on hard times, so the money is a blessing. She decides it’s time to move and start fresh. Where does she go and why? Does she end up working or living off her means?

39. Trevor has worked hard all his life. His hands have only known physical labour. He looks at the doctor with sadness. What has the doctor just told him?

40. You are a CEO of a company that’s been asked to reduce costs by 50%. You can either cut workers, management, or production. What do you choose and what will be the consequences?
