Tami Hoag – Ashes to Ashes

If you are looking for a spell-binding thriller, Tami Hoag’s Ashes to Ashes will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I must admit this is my first time ever reading any of her stuff. So my review is fresh and unbiased, and she impressed me enough with this book, I will gladly read more of her stuff.

Ashes to Ashes is a thriller and has a few major players. The book is well written and keeps you interested. It starts off with action, which I love, and pretty much keeps you hooked for the whole duration. In fact there were many nights where I couldn’t put it down, even though I knew it was well past my bedtime!

Ashes to Ashes, starts out with a murder. There is a serial killer and it’s up Kate Conlan, John Quinn, Sam Kovic and many more to stop him.

Kate is a witness advocate who has the difficult task of trying to pry out the description of the serial killer from a young girl. The girl has been through so much and is hardened to the point where she doesn’t trust anyone.

John Quinn, is an FBI profiler who has been called in by a billionaire whose daughter has gone missing.

Sam Kovic is head of the task force set up to find the serial killer who has been nicknamed by the press as Cremator.

I don’t want to give the plot away too much, but it’s well written, with surprising twists and turns. In the end it’s up to Kate and her witness to stop the serial killer. Kate’s life hangs in the balance.

I highly recommend Tami Hoag’s Ashes to Ashes book for anyone who loves thrillers, and well written fiction.
