Guest Blogging

Guest blogging serves many purposes; but the most important point it does is build traffic. Traffic is essential if you're trying to build your reputation, or sell a product. By writing guest posts you help get traffic that you wouldn’t normally have. It also builds a link back to your site, which helps improve your page ranking.

When choosing what blogs to write for, keep it relevant. If you have a dog website, you’ll want to pick a dog blog. Also try to find a blog with a high page ranking (pr) and a lot of traffic.

So what should you get paid for your post? Well it depends on a variety of factors like how successful you are. If you’re just starting out you might want to write a couple for free. This helps build link-backs to your website, which helps you get indexed faster, and improves your ranking.
