This site is great because it's a database of all available creative writing scholarships. You can search online, and find out right away if you're eligible for a grant or loan.

Go abroad, is a great site for international scholarships. It has an extensive database of all available scholarships on the internet. If you want to study abroad, this is the site to find the program.

Also, some tips when applying for scholarships:

• Always research the admission requirements, don't apply till you fully understand everything as this will be their first impression of you.
• Most programs want an entry essay written by you (stating why you deserve the scholarship, etc).
• Try to get as much outside school activities in as you can. It looks good if you're a journalism student, and you've volunteered at your local paper. Remember you need to stand out against all the other applicants, make yourself shine.
• Collect professional references. Try to meet as many people in your area of interest who can be references. Sometimes, although not fair, it's who you know, not what you know.
