Character Name Generator

Using a character name generator is fast and easy.

Character names are an essential part of the story writing process. Some people can come up with names with ease, while other people ask around or do intense thinking to find that perfect name.

Instead of wasting valuable writing time, why not use a character name generator to do the grunt work for you.

Before I discovered these links, I too would waste valuable time hunting down names. My favorite way would be to watch movie credits and write down unique names.

It wasn't till I created this website that I truly realized the power of using a character name generator.

The links I have included below are paid and free. I believe in offering both, because if you have money, great; if not, you should still be able to use a name generator to help you.

My first choice is for anyone who will use a name generator a lot. This generator is great for writing fantasy, where you're looking to create your own language, or world; or perhaps you're into writing sci-fi and you want unique names for planets, or colonies. Or maybe you're a business owner and you're interested in finding names for your businesses, products, or websites, this is a great tool for that. Perhaps you're a script writer and you want to stand out by having unique names and words for your play. Whatever you are looking for this program offers it and much more. Don't worry about it being English, the program works for any language. You have to pay for the program, but if you do a lot of script writing, proposal writing, story writing, it is well worth it. The second link I have included is free. This link has a variety of character naming criteria. So depending on what you are looking for you will find it here. I like the quick name tool, when I used it, it came up with Briana Nunez. This name would work for any kind of story you plan on writing. Click here to check out a free character name generator.

My last choice is geared for novels and short stories. When I used this site, it gave me a quick name upon arrival Maylin Ricky Kennita. Or I could use the name generator based on race, and the initial I wanted to start with. Click here to search based on initial.

Now that you know how to get a name, perhaps you are struggling to write the perfect main character. A great afford tool to use is 1001 character quirks for writing fiction.

Good luck and happy writing.
